Secret Garden Facts #33
The fighting spirit of Ha Ji Won and Hyun Bin can be seen as they jumped into a freezing pond with temperatures below zero during filming for drama ‘Secret Garden’.
Filmed on Nov 13 and 14 at Gyeonggi-do Yeoju, this scene requires Ha Ji Won and Hyun Bin to enter a chest-deep freezing pond. They tried their best and their acting received applause by surrounding staff. Fortunately, they also received the OK from the director and managed to finish the scene just once, without NG.
What’s more, Ha Ji Won had to wait in her wet clothes after getting out of the pond as she had a continuous scene after that. Despite shivering in the cold weather, she still smiled brightly at the staff who were worried about her, warming up the atmosphere at the set.
A spokesman from production house Hwa and Dam Pictures said, “Actors usually think of their safety first, but Ha Ji Won and Hyun Bin’s determination during the filming shows the professionalism of top actors.”

The droppy knitwear with lots of holes that she wore is a handmade branded piece from Italy, so exclusive, it isn’t even sold in the department store. Knowing that she’s born into a life as the top 1.5% of society, she thought she didn’t need to know the meaning of true love. Wel.. until she mets Oska..
